Day #23 – I’m gonna feel this tomorrow

Hello and happy Thursday! We are so close to the weekend!!

Today has been a rainy yet sunny day. The sun was shining while it was sprinkling this morning, which meant super humidity. Not good. But it did cool down later, and as of right now it’s sooooo cold and pouring. Quite messy indeed!

I was able to fit in about half an hour of exercising today. I did some pretty intense glute, quad, and calf work… and considering that I’m still slightly sore from my last leg day, I think I’m  going to be really sore tomorrow! That’s good with me though… it feels oddly satisfying to me 😉

Tomorrow is Friday. This week has gone by very slow to me… I suppose I’m counting down the days til Christmas break, so everything is going slower. I’m so excited it’s almost the weekend, because I will be spending a lot of time with family and will be doing some fun Christmas shopping.

Day #22 – Recovery

Hey guys! It’s Wednesday… almost Friday!!

Today, as every Wednesday, was a rest day for me. It felt amazing, as I’m still sore from leg day 3 days ago and ab day yesterday. Tomorrow I will likely do some legs if I have time, though I know I’m going to have a lot to do in the evening and I may not have the time available. I’ll try my best to get some in! 🙂

Today was a pretty good day. Although the morning was very stressful, I had a great afternoon with friends and family. I have a huge project due on Friday that I’ve been working on, so that’s something I have to keep in mind while planning my exercise schedule for this week. I’m so ready for next week!

Day #21 – Ab definition?!

Aloha friends! Happy Tuesday!

Today was a great day. I got a lot done fast, even though I was slightly stressed out about finishing everything. 

I did a great ab and oblique workout today. I was so tired and sore afterwards… but you know what? I am actually starting to be able to see some very slight (and I mean very slight) lines and definition on my abs!! It’s amazing because this is the most defined they’ve been since I was little (seriously thought why do so many 8 year olds have six packs?!). I’m really loving this results and it’s very encouraging to see my workouts beginning to make an impact. 

So, motivation for exercising!! Yay!

Day #20 – Surprisingly good Monday

Hello and good evening! Welcome to or back to my blog. I hope you’ve all had a fantastic start to this week!

Today was a chilly but not freezing day, which was a nice break. Everything seemed a bit more festive today, which was quite enjoyable. I love Christmas time… it’s such a cheery season!

I was able to work in almost a half hour of arms today, and believe me, I really felt those few minutes. I ent for heavier weights and less reps at first but quickly changer to my lighter dumbbells so I could get in more reps and cardio. It wasn’t as long of a workout as I normally try to achieve, but that was fine because today was quite busy (but definitely not bad).

I expected today to be a lot more stressful than it actually was. Although I have a huge project due at the end of the week that I started today, it should be fairly simple to complete. I just have to remind myself to work my hardest to reach my goals while doing difficult tasks such as this 🙂

Day #19 – Extreme sweat

Hello and good evening! Have y’all had a good weekend? I hope so! 

Tomorrow is once again Monday… both a hopeful and dreadful day. But in preparation for the new week, I did a long leg workout that I’m sure I will be feeling tomorrow 😉

I did slightly over an hour of HIIT workouts focusing on glutes, hamstrings, thighs, and calves. It felt so good to really get a good burn going, something of which I haven’t had time to do lately. I was completely soaked with sweat afterwards (gross, I know), but considering I don’t typically sweat a lot during exercising, that’s awesome for me. 

Tomorrow I’m hoping to have time to do my regular arm routine. Monday’s are usually the hardest day of the week, so I need a good workout to destress at the end of the day.

Day #18 – Mini abs

Hello! 

Today I didn’t have much time to work with, so I did a few minutes of an and oblique work. It felt great and quite rejuvenating!

Tomorrow, being the last day of this weekend, I want to try and do a good leg workout. I haven’t done a very hard leg day in a while, and I really want to achieve that tomorrow.

Day #17 – Friend time

Hello and good afternoon… and happy weekend!!!! 

I’m so excited because I’m about to go spend the whole night with a bunch of friends, so this won’t be the longest post ever (please understand my rushed typing 😂). I don’t have time to workout before I leave but I definitely will try to tomorrow. 

Today’s been a great day and I’m so glad that it’s officially the weekend. This week was quite stressful, so the two-day break will be delightful.

Day #16 – Finally sore

Aloha friends! I hope you’ve all had a tremendously fun day, and just a reminder to celebrate since TOMORROW IS FRIDAY!

So today I was finally able to workout once again, and it felt absolutely amazing. I didn’t realize how much I’d missed pushing myself as far as I could while working out, even though it’s only been two days. Plus, today was quite fun (many hilarious moments included), which added to the great atmosphere of this Thursday. 

Tomorrow I have plans with friends all night, so I likely won’t have the time to workout. If I do , then I will try to do some quick abs. But if not, I just need to remind myself that it’s okay and I can catch up. After all, I’m not being lazy; I’ve had this planned for at least a month, and I’m sure not backing out 😉

Day #15 – Busy, busy, busy

Good evening my lovelies! Tomorrow is Thursday… yay! Almost to Friday!

Today, as I mentioned yesterday, I didn’t have time to workout sadly 😦 I wanted to but had absolutely zero extra time that wasn’t occupied by prepoanned activities. That’s okay though, I’ll get back to my regular schedule tomorrow. 

Today was a good day. I spent a lot of time with friends and did some things I love, so even though I didn’t have the chance to exercise I still had an overall great day (as I hope you all did, too!).

Tomorrow I’ll do arms, which I’m actually looking forward to for once. Not working out the last couple days makes me miss it, which is a new, odd, and honestly cool feeling! I’m excited to feel to burn tomorrow 😉

Day #14 – Much needed rest

Hello my lovelies! I hope you’ve all had a wonderful Tuesday. I had a great day today, including no working out

Well, technically I did about two hours of dance (which for me is very light cardio), but I don’t count that as my normal workouts… just exercise on the side. 

But anyways… no working out. I felt a bit odd not exercising, to be honest. The reason why today was a rest day was that yesterday I’d forgotten that I had plans tonight, so I wouldn’t have time for arm day. It did feel quite soothing to not push myself today, though. I feel like rest days are very beneficial to any person, even when you alternate the body parts you strengthen on a daily basis. 

Overall today was a lovely day. It was very cold this morning – the bitter winds also added to the chilliness, which was surprisingly very energizing standing outside in this morning. 

I spent a good amount of time with my family this evening, which I found to be lovely. We drove around and looked at gorgeous Christmas lights and decorations… so festive and fun!

Since I didn’t do my arm day today, I’ll plan on doing it Thursday (I also don’t have time tomorrow evening to workout ☹️) with hopefully a quick workout tomorrow. I hope you all have a fantastic day tomorrow… already Wednesday!!
