Day #73 – (Almost) Back to normal

Aloha! It’s the weekend, and I’ve never been so happy about it!!

Today’s been the best day I’ve had in a long time. The morning started out easy (though with about 150% humidity) and fun, while the afternoon was filled with social time. I had a fantastic day, and I’m so glad my weekend started out on such a spendid note. Even as of right now I’m having a blast; FaceTiming my cousin whom I’m very close to. I just love days like today!!

Tomorrow I don’t have any big plans other than a few errands and relaxing. I’m hoping to be able to get some stuff done around my home that I haven’t wanted to do, as I’ve been sick. I have felt much better today, thank goodness!

I decided to take one more day off from exercising, just to let my body fully recover. Tomorrow I’ll likely get back into my normal routine of working out with arm day, which I’m really excited about. I’ve missed my workouts!

Day #72 – Slow Improvement

Hi! Happy Thursday… we’re so close to Friday!!

Today’s been such a long day. I started early, as I had to make up some stuff I missed yesterday… but I was able to get completely caught up, thank goodness. I did have a fairly stressful day but nothing insane. That’s always nice 😉

I had a ton of work I brought home with me also. I just finished it all; not quite the most fun way to spend my evening, but it’s fine. I’m just glad I got it all done! I also finished a project I’m very proud of.

I haven’t felt quite normal today… still sickly and not energetic in the slightest. I’ve also been quite congested and easily winded, and right now I have an absolutely horrid headache. With all this combined with my work, I did not work out today. Perhaps tomorrow I’ll feel on par to exercise some, but my body is just telling me to not push it that far now. I have been maintaining a somewhat healthy diet the last couple days though!

Day #71 – Relaxation & Recovery

Aloha my lovelies! Welcome to or back to my blog. I hope you’ve all had a fantastic day!

Today I did end up taking the day off from all work (except for late this evening). I just wasn’t feeling good at all and decided it would be better to me to rest and recuperate rather than have to go stress about work with the addition of feeling absolutely horrid. So I had a lovely day of sleeping, playing games, and cuddling with my dogs!

Of course with me being sick, I didn’t have the energy nor motivation to exercise. With whatever I’ve got, I think working out would make me feel worse rather than better. I made the choice to put exercise out of my mind today and to just focus on getting well so that I may resume work tomorrow.

I’m praying that I’ll be better by tomorrow, or at least have my condition improved some. Both today and yesterday have been awful as far as how I’ve felt, and I’m really hoping tomorrow will be at least slightly better. I can’t miss another day, so I have to get through tomorrow, however I feel… I can only hope for the best and fight through it 🙂

Day #70 – Sickness is NOT fun

Aloha friends! I hope you’ve all had a fantastic day, unlike me 🙃😂

So I woke up this morning feeling absolutely horrid. I almost stayed home today, but I had so much to do and decided to get through it. Having to do work today was awful and I’m honestly surprised that I was able to force myself to stay. I don’t know what I’ve got but it’s not fun at all 😦

Of course with being sick, I didn’t work out today. I’d never do that while I’ll, as I don’t think that helps anything out. I definitely didn’t go for a run…

I’m likely going to take a day off tomorrow if I still feel like this. I’ve been feeling extremely overwhelmed lately, and I feel like I need a both physical and mental health day.

Day #69 – Cause of death: Allergies

Hello and happy Monday! I hope you’ve all had a great day and start to your week.

Today started out a gorgeous day, so I decided to go for a run this evening. That was a bad choice… halfway through my run, a huge cold front began to blow through and it became extremely windy (going against me, of course) and the temperature dropped so much. Also, this caused my allergies to skyrocket within minutes… so yeah. I’ve also had a ton of stuff to do this evening, which I’m still working on; I’m definitely not going to have time to workout today.

I’m hoping tomorrow will be better than today, even though I did still have a fairly good day. I’ll talk to you later. Today’s a magnificent day to be happy!

Day #68 – Queasy workout

Hello! Welcome to or back to my blog. I hope you’ve all had a wonderful finale to your weekend!

Today’s been quite an enjoyable day. I relaxed for most of the morning before going out and running around for a bit. I didn’t get much done that was very productive, but hey… sometimes those are the best days. Although I’ve literally done I think 5 loads of laundry today; basically I ran out of pants as I hadn’t washed clothes in so long, so I had to get a ton of that done today.

My plan was to do a really good leg workout today to start of this week strong. I ended up only getting through about 30 minutes as I began to feel overheated and slightly nauseous in the middle of my workout. I probably could’ve done more, but I definitely didn’t need to get sick today, therefore I went ahead and stopped. It was disappointing to not be able to finish my workout, but I’m going to try to make it up tomorrow with another amazing arm day like last week’s.

I’m hoping tomorrow will not be extremely stressful… I feel like I’m not fully recovered from all of last week’s events, and I’m desperately hoping I don’t have much to do at home tomorrow evening. Day #67 – Night out

Hello my lovelies! I hope you’ve had a beautiful day 🙂

Today was such a fantastic day. I was able to sleep in, have breakfast with my family, go gift shopping for someone, and have a night out with my best friend. It was absolutely wonderful! I haven’t had such fun in a good while. The event we attended was pretty formal… it was fun getting all dressed up and visiting a very luxurious venue.

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to workout today. I barely had enough time to get ready for the event, let alone hours to exercise. Tomorrow I’ll definitely try to do legs though… hopefully that muscle in my leg will be feeling better by then.

Day #66 – Fail-ish

Hello and HAPPY WEEKEND!! I’m so, so relieved that it is finally Friday. Thank goodness. It’s time!

Today was a very long day but I’m so glad that I got through it and made it to these couple days of rest and relaxation. I’ve been very stressed this week (even though it was a 4-day week), so I’m absolutely thrilled about not having to do any work the next two days.

I tried to do a good ab workout today; the weird thing is I started out strong, then it all began to roll downhill. So what happened was I completed one of my regular ab routines and was fine, but after that a muscle in my leg I think I slightly strained a couple days ago began to hurt quite badly. You know how many ab workouts involve your legs? I couldn’t get through more as it hurt too badly, and I definitely did not want to push myself too hard. After that I went and started doing my daily pushups, only to get a sharp pain in my left shoulder that wouldn’t go away. Long story short… I got a bunch of weird pains and didn’t want to keep working out with them. If they were any slight injuries, I didn’t want to make them worse by pushing myself past the pain I was feeling. Really, today’s workout was just mediocre. I wasn’t able to complete much, but at least I still did some.

Day #65 – Party time

Aloha my lovelies! I hope you’ve all had a fantastic day today and that everything in your life is going amazingly.

Today, as I’d mentioned yesterday, is a close family member’s birthday. I’ve been celebrating with them all afternoon and evening, and it’s been so much fun! I hope their day was special and as they wished for it to be.

I didn’t have the time to exercise today (as I’d planned on), so perhaps tomorrow I’ll be able to get my my ab day. I’m looking forward to working out again after Cheesecake Factory for dinner and birthday cake for dessert!

Day #64 – Day off from exercise

Hello and happy Wednesday!

Today’s been a long but gorgeous day. Many good things have happened, including a big event in my best friend’s life that I was there to experience! It was amazing. I didn’t have the time to workout today with all of that going on but it was totally worth it.

Tomorrow I also will not be able to workout, as it is a family member’s birthday and I’m going to be celebrating in the evening. I’m very excited to get to make their day as special as possible!
