Day #103 – Ready to sleep

Hello my lovelies! I hope today has been fantastic for you, and that you’ve had a great weekend overall. I sure have!

My event ended today, so I’ve had about half a day to complete all my typical weekend tasks around the house. I’ve gotten a lot done, though of course I didn’t have quite as much time as I normally do. I had a great time this weekend, and I’m so glad that I was able to partake in the event. I made new friends, had fun, and made so many memories.

I couldn’t decide whether or not to workout today, but I decided against it because if how tired I am. I didn’t feel that it would be beneficial to exercise a bunch when I’m already completely exhausted. I did still want to start out my week active, though, so I did about a half hour of yoga and flexibility training. It felt great to stretch out, as I hadn’t all weekend; I felt even more tired after that, though!

I’m about to go to bed early and sleep as long as I can. I’m not feeling ready to go back to the normal schedule, but I know I have to and will make the best out of it. I hope tomorrow goes wonderfully for you and I’ll talk to y’all then! Today’s a magnificent day to be happy!

Day #102 – So tired

Aloha friends! Welcome to or welcome back to my blog. I hope you’ve all had a lovely day!

I got only a couple hours of sleep last night, and I must say that I am worn out. I’ve had a wonderfully long, busy, fun-filled day, and I’m so glad I’ve gotten to experience this event this weekend. I still wasn’t able to workout today, but it’s tofslly worth it for everything else I’m doing. This weekend has already been amazing, and we still have another day to go!

Day #101 – New month, new friends

Hello and happy March! The third month of the year is already upon us, and I’m excited to see what this month will lead to.

Today I’ve had a very busy day, but I’m so glad it is the weekend. I have an event tonight, tomorrow, and Sunday morning that I’m super excited about, but will also entail very late nights and super busy days. I’m getting to meet many new people and have a ton of fun, so of course I’m really happy about this weekend. I won’t have the opportunity to workout directly, though with some activities I’ll be doing I will likely get in somewhat of a workout.

Day #100 – A magnificent day, although difficult

Aloha my friends and welcome to my hundredth day of my fitness revival! Thank y’all for sticking with me for so long and motivating me to continue my journey.

Today has been a very stressful, anxiety-inducing day… I don’t feel like getting into details, but I’ve been feeling worried all day long. I was able to take a few mental breaks though, such as focusing on the cold air as I left my workspace or singing while getting ready for bed. I’m feeling slightly less stressed out now, after noticing the beauty of some everyday things.

I didn’t have the time to workout today, as I’ve been super busy all evening. I’m excited about the upcoming weekend! I need a break from everything that’s been going on this week. It’s been so intense and I feel like I need rest; physically, emotionally, and mentally.

I’m so happy that I’m taking this road to a healthy lifestyle with y’all. Thank you for supporting me, for keeping me encouraged, and for holding me responsible for my choices. I’m thankful for you reading this right now! I’ll talk to y’all tomorrow. Have a beautiful rest of your day! Today’s a magnificent day to be happy!

Day #99 – Hope for the future

Aloha my lovelies! Welcome to or back to my blog. I hope you’re all having a wonderful, beautiful day!

For me, today has been pretty good with a bit of stress sprinkled in. The beginning of the day started out great. I had a very health breakfast, wasn’t rushing, and felt truly alive and ready to take on the day. As I left my house though, the weather was a bit of a turn-off. It was cold and windy outside, but I smiled through the cold and focused on my happy music rather than the bitter weather. My work day began with a stressful project; my partner in the project wasn’t working today, so I had to complete much of the project by myself. I got it done though, and continued my day quite happily. Later on in the morning, I had a great time working with some friends on a different project. Overall, my day was fantastic! The weather got even colder by afternoon, which surprised me as I walked outside. I ran quite quickly to my ride home!

Once back, I knew that I wanted to workout, but I wasn’t feeling motivated at all. I decided to just get it done and almost forced myself through the exercises. I know that probably isn’t the best mindset to have… but I really wanted to get in some exercise today, and even though I wasn’t feeling it, I got through an intense, hour-long workout. I was honestly counting down the minutes until I could stop, but I’m proud of myself for not giving up even when I was discouraged. Today was arm day, and I was happy to find out that I was able to complete my entire workout with my heaviest dumbbells! I still experienced my fair share of short rests and doubts about whether I’d make it, though.

I’m hoping that, starting tomorrow on Day #100 of this journey, that I’ll be able to motivate myself like today and continue to grow in my endurance. The past 100 days have flown by since I first started both my fitness revival and this blog, and I’m so glad I’ve gotten to share this experience with you. Moving forward, let’s motivate and encourage each other to reach our goals even when they’re difficult!

Day #98 – Loss of energy

Aloha friends and happy Tuesday!

Today I feel like I haven’t had any energy. It’s not that I haven’t been motivated, it’s just like I have absolutely no physical strength to complete anything. I’m not quite sure why, and I’m hoping tomorrow will be better.

I didn’t workout today, for two reasons; one being that I haven’t felt 100% energetic, and two being that I really would’ve only had enough time to do my warm up anyways.

I’m hoping tomorrow I’ll have more energy and be ready to be active. I hope you all have a fantastic day and I’ll talk to you tomorrow. Today is a magnificent day to be happy!

Day #97 – Back pain

Hello and welcome to or back to my blog! I hope you’re all having a fantastic Monday.

Today was a pretty good day for me. I didn’t have much to do, so I came home planning to do legs. I started that and did for a while, though I stopped because of a pretty bad pain in a certain muscle in my back. I didn’t want to push myself and injure myself, so I stopped.

Day #96 – Late start

Aloha amigos! Today’s been a beautiful day for me, as I hope it’s been for you!

The weather today was stunningly nice. I woke up the latest I’ve ever slept (almost 10:00 am, which is super late for me!!) to the sun shining through my windows. It was a gorgeous beginning to this day, and I am glad that I got to be outside with my family and enjoy the sunshine today.

I didn’t workout today, as my evening was taken up by cooking and getting some stuff done. Although I did take a 30 minute brisk walk with my dog this afternoon… I suppose that could count as something. As long as I don’t have much work tomorrow evening, I’m planning on doing leg day then. Hopefully that works out!

I can’t believe it’s almost the end of February already. I feel like it was just the beginning of Autumn when I started this blog! It just reminds me to savor every day, and the moments that come with them. Have a great day tomorrow! Today’s a magnificent day to be happy!

Day #95 – Abs, abs, abs

Today has been a fantastic start to the weekend for me. I’ve just been relaxing and trying to de-stress as much as possible. I also got in a good ab workout, which felt amazing! I’m so glad I’ve been able to do nothing productive all day, and had a great time doing it 😉

Day #94 – Time to chill

Hello and welcome to or back to my blog. We all survived the workweek and made it to the weekend! I’m feeling so, so relieved currently. I need this break!!

The weather today was gloomy and messy; it seemed to affect the miss of many today in a negative way. Everyone seemed a bit down, tired, and overall sad today; it’s so odd how the weather can change people’s feelings. The air of discouragement disappeared as everyone left to go home, though!

I didn’t workout today. I was planning on it, but my family and I ended up going out tonight and spending some time together. It prevented me from exercising, but it was worth it. I’ll definitely try to exercise tomorrow.
