Day #66 – Fail-ish

Hello and HAPPY WEEKEND!! I’m so, so relieved that it is finally Friday. Thank goodness. It’s time!

Today was a very long day but I’m so glad that I got through it and made it to these couple days of rest and relaxation. I’ve been very stressed this week (even though it was a 4-day week), so I’m absolutely thrilled about not having to do any work the next two days.

I tried to do a good ab workout today; the weird thing is I started out strong, then it all began to roll downhill. So what happened was I completed one of my regular ab routines and was fine, but after that a muscle in my leg I think I slightly strained a couple days ago began to hurt quite badly. You know how many ab workouts involve your legs? I couldn’t get through more as it hurt too badly, and I definitely did not want to push myself too hard. After that I went and started doing my daily pushups, only to get a sharp pain in my left shoulder that wouldn’t go away. Long story short… I got a bunch of weird pains and didn’t want to keep working out with them. If they were any slight injuries, I didn’t want to make them worse by pushing myself past the pain I was feeling. Really, today’s workout was just mediocre. I wasn’t able to complete much, but at least I still did some.
