Day #56 – Actual gym equipment

Hello and happy Tuesday! Today’s been a beautiful day for me, as I hope it’s been for you!

Today has felt like one of the longest days ever. I’m not sure why… maybe it’s becayse I’ve been super busy all day, but everything that I’ve been doing has been horribly boring. I nearly fell asleep before lunch time. I had absolutely no energy whatsoever, which is very odd for me; I’m typically a very peppy person, so if I’m drowsy… it’s quite a rare occurrence.

This afternoon I had to work on my tasks for several hours after I got home, so I sadly didn’t have much time to exercise. But I was able to workout for a few minutes on our new home gym set! I absolutely loved all that I did on it… although the ankle strap broke (??) immediately after I began to use it, so I’ll have to order another one or try to fix it somehow. Other than that, I had a lot of fun experimenting on the machine. I was able to do quad raises (I don’t know what it’s really called) with about 50 lbs, which I was so proud of. I didn’t think I’d be able to do that heavy of a weight, especially 7 sets of 10 reps!! I was so excited, and it was a great first experience with the home gym. I’m thrilled to do my arms on it tomorrow and see what new movements I can learn.
