Day #41 – The end of 2018

Happy New Years Eve!! 2018 is about to end (for me it’s currently 11:57 pm), and I’m ready to ring in the new year!

This year has been packed full of surprises. Many amazing things have happened to me this year, and I’m so glad those changes have brought me to where I am today. I’ve developed new relationships, experienced so many new things, and overall grown as a person. This was the first year I made an effort to change myself positively in ways such as exercising more and eating healthier. I’m so happy about how I’ve lived out this year, and I hope 2019 is even better.

As far as my New Years revolutions, I’m planning on doing several things. One being that I want to keep up my exercise habits, and try to workout at least 30-40 minutes per day (other than on rest days). Another resolution I’ve set for myself is to eat healthier, both in types of foods and amounts. I’ve struggled a lot in the past with eating very little amounts (not on purpose, just without even realizing it). I’m working to eating bigger portions of healthier foods, rather than smaller portions of less nutrient-rich items. My third resolution is to be more mindful and put a large focus on self-care. I feel like I am definitely not as focused on my mindfulness as I’d like to be, and I want to take time each day to reflect and be thankful. The final resolution I’m making for myself is to put forth more effort into growing relationships and increasing my self confidence. I want to be bolder and braver next year; I am setting my goal to be the most self-assured version of myself possible, and I am thrilled about that.

My goals are for no one but myself. I want to be my healthiest, happiest self in 2019, and I feel like 2018 has given me a great basis for that. I’m so thankful for everyone who’s helped get me through this year, and for every blessing I’ve received. I’m going to make more of an effort to show compassion and bless others throughout next year, as I want to be that person to bring a smile to someone’s bad day.

I hope you all have an amazing rest of 2018, and 2019 is much better for you than you could ever imagine. I’m looking forward to seeing where this new year will lead us all ❤️ Happy New Years! Stay safe, have fun, and get this year of to a wonderful start!! I’ll talk to y’all next year 😉

2018 was a magnificent year to be happy, as will be 2019!!
